DR. TARASHA PEARSON
Dr. Pearson graduated from the University of Mississippi with bachelor’s of science degree in Biology. She completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee. Upon graduation from UT, she practiced as a general dentist for 3 years. While working as a general dentist she nurtured her love of pediatric dentistry and in 2007 she relocated to Washington D.C to begin her specialty training in Pediatric dentistry at Howard University. Dr. Pearson completed her residency in 2009 and she has been practing in southeast Washington, DC. She opened her office, Pearson Pediatric Dentistry in 2018. She is also currently an assistant professor at Howard University in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Pearson completed the rigorous board certification process and she is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She maintains memberships in several professional organizations including: the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the College of Diplomates, the American Dental Association and the National Dental Association. Dr. Pearson is married to her college sweetheart and they have 3 children. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, jogging and watching HGTV.
Dr. Pearson has been voted as one of America’s best dentist each year since 2018.
